In September 2024, the authoritative wine publication Wine-Searcher published a rating of the most expensive champagne in the world. It included ten cuvées, the average price of which in Western markets ranges from $2,156 to $5,305 per bottle. The first places were taken by Dom Perignon: gold went to the P3 Plenitude brut rose for $5,305, silver was received by the classic P3 Plenitude brut for $4,831, and bronze went to the Oenotheque rose for $3,358. Next came Krug Clos d'Ambonnay Blanc de Noirs Brut, Bollinger R.D. Extra Brut 'Spectre' James Bond 007 Edition, Louis Roederer Cristal 'Gold Medalion' Orfevres Limited Edition Brut Millesime and Jacques Selosse Millesime.
