Jerez de la Frontera, the heart of the Sherry Triangle, once again embraced the atmosphere of an ancient tradition in September – the Pisa de la Uva, the celebration of the first grape pressing, was held with great fanfare! This colorful and exciting festival marks the beginning of the new Sherry vintage, a wine inextricably linked to the history and culture of this region.

The Pisa de la Uva is not just a harvest; it's a ritual whose roots run deep into the past. The tradition of foot-pressing grapes, symbolizing respect for the gifts of the earth, is passed down from generation to generation. At the heart of the celebration are the pressers (pisadores) who, to the sounds of traditional music and the applause of the audience, transform the juicy berries into precious juice, the future Sherry.

Sherry is a unique wine produced only in the Sherry Triangle (Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María, and Sanlúcar de Barrameda). Its unique character is formed thanks to the specific climate, soil, and the unique solera system used for aging. From dry Fino to sweet Pedro Ximénez, Sherry offers a wide range of styles to satisfy any taste.
