The Mozart Wine House Sommelier Academy, with the support of the East European Association of Sommeliers and Experts, recently hosted a significant and productive meeting dedicated to the advancement of the winemaking industry in our region.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from the Rostov Region Department of Consumer Market and the HoReCa segment, alongside our talented local winemakers.

The centerpiece of the event was an insightful lecture by Alexander V. Vinnik, President of the East European Association of Sommeliers and Experts. Mr. Vinnik provided attendees with a deep dive into the rich history of Don Valley winemaking, highlighting current industry development trends and the substantial potential of Don wines in today's market.

Following the theoretical session, participants engaged in a practical, professional evaluation of wine samples from 'Usadba Sarkel' and 'Tsimlyanskie Vina' wineries. Each sample underwent detailed analysis, fostering a valuable exchange of experience and opinions, and strengthening connections among producers, restaurateurs, and government bodies.
