For years, the title of "World's Strongest Beer" has been the subject of intense competition. Breweries have been pushing the boundaries of fermentation and brewing ingenuity.

Now, Scotland's 88 Brewery has released "Beithir Fire," a brew with a scorching 75% ABV that promises to redefine the very limits of what beer can be.

"Beithir Fire," named after a mythical Scottish serpent, is not just strong, it's extremely strong. It surpasses even BrewDog's previous record holder, "Strength in Numbers," and ventures into territory more commonly associated with high-proof spirits.

Few details have been released about the specific brewing process, but it's known that 88 Brewery used a combination of traditional brewing methods and advanced technologies to achieve this astonishing ABV, including freeze-distillation, which allows for an increase in the concentration of alcohol.

As with previous record attempts, "Beithir Fire" is already generating controversy. The main question is whether a product with such a high alcohol content can still be legally classified as "beer." Critics argue that the distillation or concentration processes required to achieve 75% ABV fundamentally alter the drink, bringing it closer to fortified wine or even spirits.

Given the extreme strength, "Beithir Fire" is primarily intended for collectors and those seeking the ultimate novelty beer experience.
