Wine with Moon dust

Famous French meteorites hunters Bruno Fecty and Carin Bidot had an idea to make wine from moon dust or Mars soil. «We wanted to put into life a crazy, daring project – to make something that had never been done before. Speaking literally we decided to make the Moon and the Mars eatable», — told to the agency France Press Mr. Fectay. Fectay and Bidot organized a small company which started production of “moony” and “marsy” wine in a french town Dol (East department of Jura) last December. The drink is made according to a patented technology in the basis of which there is a method of splitting of regolith and marsian soil developed by a professor of Western-Breton University Jean-Alix Barra. Raw materials for the wine are meteorites gathered by Fectay and Bidot during all theirs life in France, but the details of the production process are kept in secret. Tehre are only 60 three-liters bottles of the “moony” and “marsy” wine made. Besides Fectay and Bidot launched production of collection cigars, containing moon and mars dust. The quantity of cigrars is about 150. “Pieces of space bodies are split to microscopic powder. We call them out-of-Earth treasure”, - joked Fectay. It would impossible to buy “space” wine in an ordinary shop. As producers say, the major part of bottles and cigars were bought before been made. The rest will be sold at auctions. And Fectay and Bidot don't want to fix any price leaving this prerogative to the buyers. Source – www.upakovano.ru
