Customers of alcohol will be threatened by calories

Government of Great Britain invented an original method of decrease of alcohol consumption in the country. It must have a significant effect to women. The idea is to show the calories content at the label of a drink. It is supposed that this information would make the over-drinkers think about the consequences. There is an agreement to sign contracts with sellers of alimentary products and alcohol drinks which will oblige them to mark this information of the labels. A public poll showed that 50% of responders are acquainted of the calories content of a cheese-burger, and only a third part knows the calories content of a glass of wine. For information: a glass of wine of 175 ml has 130 calories, the same as two cookies. A pint of beer (0,568 l) contents 250 cal, like a piece of pizza. A doze of a strong drink of 25 ml has 56 cal, more than in a portion of coffee with cream (47 cal). Besides, drinkers normally use to eat snacks with high calories content like chips, salted peanut, burritos, so their monthly consumption of calories is in average to 2 000 calories more, that those who doesn't drink alcohol, that is the equivalent of 38 roast-beefs.
