A Winery of the IV century before J.C.

 
 
14 km away from antique Hersones archeologists discovered a winery dated IVth century before J.C. The site where the enterprise was placed was fortified and prepared to a long siege of Nomads. Russian and Ukrainian archeologists work at the excavations. The chief o0f the expedition Galina Nikolaenko says that since IV to II century before J.C. That was a fortified post aimed to protect the winery from Scythian, composed of young Hersonezites. This site together with Hersones, Sudak fortress and Chembalo fortress will be included into the World Heritage of UNESCo in some time, reports “RIA News”. Source – www.alconews.ru
