The 21st of November the Council of the Federation accepted a law fixing the rate of excises for 2013−2015. Necessary amendments will be made to the articles 181 and 193 of the Part II of the Tax Codex of the Russian Federation. According to the document by 2015 the excise rate for ethyl will grow to 27,5%, for alcohol-containing drinks – 25%. The excise rate for wine and beer with the alcohol content less than 8,6% will be indexed to 12,5% by 2015. This increase of the rates will serve to fill consolidated budget of the country.
