On 7th of August the tasting dedicated to white wines of Italy and France took place at the Academy of Sommelier Mozart Wine House with the support of Eurowine company and East European Sommeliers and Experts Association.

The tasting was held by Sergey Smolin, a chief sommelier of Eurowine company, a graduate of Centre de Formation Professionnelle et de Promotion Agricole de Beaune (Beaune, France) and Wine and Spirit Education Trust (London, UK).

Participants tasted refreshing Italian sparkling wine Prosecco «Victor» extra dry and five samples of white wines from Domaine du Tariquet winery of the south of France from the region of Gascony.

Gascony is a unique corner of the world. It is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees.

Tariquet wines come from here. These fruity, fresh, light wines are perfect as an accompaniment to a meal in the hot summer days. A special sweet cuvee «Les Premieres Grives» of Gros Manseng grape with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity will be a fitting conclusion dinner in combination with light desserts.
