A project of a Wine Museum in the Switzerland

A project of a Wine Museum which will be constructed in the Swiss Lavaux Terraces, UNESCO Heritage, was finally published. Swiss architectural agency Mauro Turin presented to public a project of a Museum that will be placed over the terraced vineyard of Lavaux on the side of the Geneva lake. The vineyard total area is 830 hectares, the length is 30 km, it was included into the World Heritage of UNESCO. One of the aims of the architectures was to attract more tourists to the vineyard. Representatives of Mauro Turin commented: «The Wine Museum will be hang on the rock. The construction will become a part of the landscape and will not hurt the fragile structure of the terrace. Visitors will walk on the air – the visit of the vineyard will become an unforgettable experience». The project of the Museum of Lavaux previews a transparent floor through which a grandiose panorama of the vineyard will open. “The Museum should become a little cult place in the center of an enormous cult landscape. The Nature and the building should not come into concurrence but reinforce each other from visual point of view”, - stated the Mauro Turin. Source – www.vinum.ru
