Devoted to Art brand of Champagne Perrier-Jouët presented a new creation of a Dutch industrial designer Tord Boontje — a stand for champagne glasses The Enchanting Tree. The creation will become a new pearl of a collection of art-objects, including multiple items like an installation “Lost Time” and a table Perrier-Jouët Flower. Golden branches of the tree hand-made from metal are decorated with white anemones in style of art-nouveau. The ends of the elegant branches are equipped with round rings for glasses. The tree together with a bottle of champagne Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque was exhibited in Saatchi Gallery in London on the 22th of March. «I wanted to create a functional object which could inspire emotions and dreams. Here utility is beautiful, and beauty is useful”, - Tord Boontje told about his work. Perrier-Jouët declared also a new grant project in modern art which will stimulate talented British artists. Media-sponsor of the grant is the journal Financial Times. In mid-January the brand organized an art-salon gathered 13 experts – arts critics, curators, artists and collectors who selected the best participants. According to the data of Disegnodaily the winner will be named on the 26th of March. He will get a prize of £10 000 and the right to organize his own exhibition in a London hotel St Pancras Renaissance in July, 2013. The winner will be able to visit the motherland of Perrier-Jouët Maison Belle Époque in Epernay, France and to see the biggest collection of objects of art-nouveau, and in December – to visit Design Miami.
