5 million bottles of Georgian wines will be supplied to Russia

 
 
Georgia supposes to supply to Russia about 5-6 million bottles by the end of 2013. According to the information of the National Agency of Wine of Georgia this will increase the volume of 30 million bottles, due to the Russian market the volume of export will grow to 30%. Up to the moment Georgia supplies wine to more than 30 countries of the world. The Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan are the biggest customers. In 2012 the country exported more about 24 million bottles of wine – to 19,6% more than a year earlier. To remind, the Chief of Russian Consumer market Control Gennadiy Onishenko declared that 36 wine factories of Georgia got the right to send their products to register in the Russian list of producers and at the Russian market there will be about 200 sorts of Georgian wines. Earlier they announced that Georgian mineral water “Borjomi” received a registration certificate of State registration in the Russian Federation and will come to Russia soon. Several days before the Minister of Agriculture of Georgia David Kirvalidze announced that Russian government agreed importation of fruit and vegetables, there are some technical questions of veterinary and phyto-sanitary control of these products.
